Eligibility :

Postgraduate

Master in Business Administration (MBA)

Eligibility Bachelor's degree (in a 10+2+3 system) from any recognized national or foreign university.Candidates having qualifyimng marks in CAT/MAT/GMAT/WBUT entrance examination, 1st class Graduates, Masters Degree holders with 50%.

Graduates with CA/ICWA/CS/CAIIB qualifications, Graduate NRI/FN (subject to necessary formalities) will only appear for GD and interview.

Candidates appearing for final year examination and are awaiting results may apply.

Selection/Admission Procedure

Written Test Candidates have to take any one of the following
CAT,MAT and JEMAT exams.

Group Discussion and Personal Interview Candidates who qualify in the written test will be called for a group discussion and personal interview.

The final selection will be based on the candidate's overall performance in the Admission Test, Group Discussion and Interview and previous academic records.


Master in Computer Application (MCA)

Bachelor's degree holders in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Computer Science with mathematics as one of the subjects.

B.Sc. (Hons) in Information Science, Software Technology, Computer Science or Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA).

Bachelor degree holders in any branch of Engineering / Technology will only have to give GD and interview.

Selection/Admission Procedure Written Test Candidates have to take any one of the following:

Joint Entrance for MCA/ Institute's own entrance test

Undergraduate

Minimum qualification for admission to the above programs is 10+2 in any discipline from any recognized Central/State Board of Higher Education from India, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, or having obtained a higher school certificate from Cambridge University. Those who have passed CBSE and Senior Secondary School Examination under the aegis of National Open School (NOS), may also apply. Applicants are required to clear CET (Common Entrance Test) conducted by WBUT.



Additional requirements for Computer Application Programme


Applicants should have had Science or Commerce (with Mathematics/Business Mathematics as one of their subjects) to qualify for BCA admission.


Additional requirements for Optometry & Vision Science Programme

Applicants should have had Science or Commerce (with Biology as one of the subjects in 10+2) to qualify for B.OPTM admission.

Admission

All 10+2 passed candidates may be enrolled for admission after submitting the application form duly filled in.

Applicants who are awaiting their 10+2 results may also apply.

Selection

The selection is through the entry test conducted by the University or as per the norms of the college.


Fees & Mode of Payment


The admission enrolment fee can be paid in cash or by Demand Draft favouring Pailan Educational Trust and payable in Kolkata).

Admission enrolment fees would be adjusted with the course fee at the time of completion of admission formalities.

If an applicant fails to complete her/his admission formalities within the time specified, her/his enrolment would stand automatically cancelled. In such a case, admission enrolment fees shall not be refunded.

WBUT Examination Fees, Registration Fees, fees towards Student Development Fund, BEC Examination Fees are separate and have to be paid extra, as applicable.
