Information Service:

Pailan College of Management & Technology aims to become one of the leading institutions in the use of communication and information technologies to support teaching and learning. Access to electronic and other information resources is central to every course at the College. Information services combine the information retrieval skills of the library staff with the technical expertise of computing staff, together with the creative design and multimedia expertise of the publishing staff. Students therefore benefit from the provision of a high quality integrated support service within the college.


Faculty

The Group's fruitful association with various academic and industrial bodies has attracted eminent faculty members from well known institutions and the corporate sector. The well experienced faculty has, in fact, mastered the art of training students for success. Students derive maximum assistance and total support from the faculty who assist them in proper and easy assimilation of knowledge. In addition, visiting faculty comprises reputed experts from educational and corporate sectors.


LIBRARY

The library is an integral part of your studies and research at PET. The College Library offers a wide range of information based services ranging from books and periodicals. Besides, many subject areas are covered by electronic information services. The college library already has more than 4000 volumes of subject specific books and 100 journals, periodicals, magazines and dailies. The library is open for 60 hours each week.

Subject teams, lead by an Academic Librarian, provide expert guidance on the vast range of resources available, including external databases and the internet. The teams offer guidance on the appropriate specialist collections, information centers and services available elsewhere in India. Students can also retrieve information through CD-ROM and other electronic media on a wide range of subject areas.

The "Online Library" being set up provides computers for students use, all with internet, e-mail and word-processing facilities and which would be connected to the computer network for access to CD ROMs and other electronic resources.
